10 Questions to Ask an Evolutionist
1. Where has macroevolution ever been observed?
2. Where are the billions of transitional fossils that should be there if your theory is right? Why don’t we see a reasonably smooth continuum among all living creatures, or in the fossil record, or both?
3. What evidence is there that information, such as that in DNA, could ever assemble itself? What about the 4000 books of coded information that are in a tiny part of each of your 100 trillion cells?
4. If the solar system evolved, why do three planets spin backwards? Why do at least 6 moons revolve backwards?
5. Has an explosion, such as the “Big Bang” ever produced order?
6. Where did matter come from?
7. Which came first, DNA or the proteins needed by DNA — which can only be produced by DNA?
8. Just before life appeared, did the atmosphere have oxygen or did it not have oxygen?
9. How did the first living cell begin? How did that first cell reproduce?
10. How did sexual reproduction evolve?
August Sermon Series on Atheism/Evolution
In August, we will present a sermon series that will be culturally
relevant, faith-building and eye-opening.
Our public school system currently teaches the ideas of evolution as a
fact rather than a theory. Unfortunately, the
scientific holes in evolution are rarely revealed and the scientific
basis for creationism is never allowed to be heard.
Such teaching has led a generation of young people to reject the Creator
revealed in the Bible and the Bible itself and
left them with only a one-sided view. Whatever happened to open dialogue
and the right to question scientific inquiry?
The natural consequence of such evolutionary teaching has warped our
worldview. As your children or grandchildren
go back to school this year, come hear these lessons. Evolution is
taught for years in our public schools. Can
you spare a few hours during the month of August to hear the other side
of the story?
